About - Brian Harnish
Throughout my education I've always excelled within the artistic curriculum. I started painting classes when I was just in fourth grade, and have been drawing and painting ever since. I have also discovered that I'm a good coder, designer, writer, and that I have talents that extend beyond the standard design label. As a current college student I've studied mostly art-related topics. Everything from painting to drawing to life painting and just about everything inbetween. It wasn't until my senior year of high school (1998 my friends...WOW) that I first learned how to build web sites with HTML (notepad) and Photoshop. From there, things took off. In addition to the design spectrum, I also build my own computers as a side hobby. I enjoy getting "under the hood" so to speak and building computers that are of high quality, with fantastic performance, while at the same time they have dastardly good looks. I have yet to find a brand-name computer that I like as well as the ones that I have custom built on my own. I guess the fun factor is in building them and the great sense of accomplishment that comes with it. I've recently switched to Mac and find the Apple Mac platform so deliciously amazing. It's now my main computer of choice, but I can work on both Mac and Windows regardless. I also enjoy playing video games, watching movies, oogling over cars (okay, okay, oogling over the 1981 DeLorean), listening to Elvis Presley (and other music, but not as much), and expanding my skills in web design, SEO, and creative endeavors.
